Q) Where are you right now in your training and how are you feeling physically and emotionally?
100% fighting ready.

Thank you for your support and I hope the show does not disappoint.
Q) Where are you training?
In San Diego, with Coach Kalina Fernandez.
Q) What type of nutrition/diet do you follow when training for a fight?
I eat properly everyday, so the only thing that changes when I’m training is quantity.
Q) How familiar are you with your opponent?
We have profiled my opponent extensively.
Q) What will be your strategy for earning a victory/knockout against this opponent?
Just do what I know how to do.
Q) What are your strengths as a fighter?
Technically sound power punching and tenacity.
Q) What do you think about the state of boxing in the Bay Area?
There are mixed feelings due to the latest USA Boxing incident.
Q) Do you think that the crowd will be behind you or your opponent?
My opponent. But, they may warm up to me as the night progresses.
Q) What is your favorite aspect of fighting at the Tank?
This is my maiden voyage, I’ll know at the end.
Q) What has been your most memorable fight?
Both my first title defense and my last.
Q) What goes through your mind the last hours before a fight?
That’s between my mind and I.
Q) Why / how did you starting boxing?
It’s the ultimate sport for a true athlete and warrior.
Q) What fighters did you look up to growing up?
Mike Tyson.
Q) What do you want to accomplish in your boxing career?
To be a complete fighter, establish and maintain dominance, and lead by setting a positive example.
Q) How do spend your time outside of the ring?
Full-time Ops professional for biotech company; running; being with my family.
Q) What is one thing people don’t know about you?
I qualified for the Boston Marathon my first time running the marathon.
