Q) Where are you right now in your training and how are you feeling physically and emotionally?
I’m in the best shape of my life, so everything is coming together right on time physically. . . emotionally? HAHAHA - a mess, Up, down, stressed, confident, nervous. I just want the bell to ring!
Q) What type of nutrition/diet are you following for this fight?
Pizza's and Cheeseburgers . . . just kidding. My diet is very basic. Carbs in the morning and protein at night. No eating after 7pm.
Q) What will be your strategy for earning a victory/knockout against this opponent?
Box! Box! Box!
Q) Why / how did you start boxing?
Why? My friend and now coach, Art, convinced me that it would be the best exercise for me to recover from a gunshot wound. Two months later, I pressured him into letting me have my first amateur fight. He told me he never would put someone with two months of boxing experience in the ring. Just like he told me he would never put someone with 5 amateur fights into the Pro's. And here I am with 5 amateur fights, turning pro. As my coach, friends, family and opponents know, I'm persistent.
Q) How do spend your time outside of the ring?
Hang out with my brothers, ride motorcycles and kick it with my beautiful girlfriend.
