Q)    Why / how did you start boxing?
When I was a kid in El Salvador I used to fight in the streets a lot so my mother took me to the local boxing gym and signed me up. After I saw my first Rocky  movie I was hooked.

Q)    What fighters did you look up to growing up?
Roberto Duran because he hits very hard.

Q)    What has been your most memorable fight?
My rematch of Juan Topoz at the HP Pavillion on Sept. 12th. Our first fight was at the HP Pavillion on July 16th and I lost by split decision. In the rematch I won by unanimous decision.

Q)    What do you want to accomplish in your boxing career?
I want to become World Champion and make a lot of money so I can take care of my mother and my family.
