Clint Coronel – Boxer Blog – July 16 Fight Card
July 13, 2009
Q) Where are you right now in your training and how are you feeling physically and emotionally?
I’m about a week away from my max peak performance.
Q) Where are you training?
In Gilroy at Robert Guerrero’s gym.
Q) What type of nutrition/diet do you follow when training for a fight?
Mainly fish and cereal. I eat fish during the day and at night, cereal in the morning and sometimes a salad for lunch.
Q) How familiar are you with your opponent, Tony Juarez?
He’s a little muscle head with a mow hawk. His name is Tony Montana Juarez. He’s 0-2. He’s from Yuba City and I know he likes Scarface hence the name Tony Montana. He seems to be very angry.
Q) What will be your strategy for earning a victory/knockout against Juarez?
Just out skilling him and patience and better conditioning too.
Q) What are your strengths as a fighter?
I have a good chin, good conditioning and I’m well schooled.
Q) Do you think that the crowd will be behind you or Juarez?
I definitely think they will be behind me. It’s my city!
Q) What goes through your mind the last hours before a fight?
Not much. I’m usually just anxious and sick of waiting. I want to get the fight started!
